KTM to Launch Support and Contingency Programs for 2011

Great news to all amateur motocross racing enthusiasts KTM will launch a support program through its dealership network. To qualify for the support program a rider must be able to race not less than 4 amateur national events. All interested riders are requested to forward their resume at their local KTM dealer to apply for the support. Only resumes submitted at the KTM’s dealerships are to be considered for the support program. Don’t forget to include the following details in your resume: 2011 race schedule and classes, and racing accomplishments (both past and present). Deadline for the submission of resumes will be on February 1, 2011.

The final list of qualified riders for the program is scheduled for release on February 15, 2011. The level of support will vary for each qualified rider depending on their skills, ability, past racing achievements and value which is to be determined by the KTM dealer.

Aside from the support program, KTM has also announced one of its largest contingency programs ever. You may view the details on the www.xtrm.com. Meanwhile, KTM North America, Inc. has reported that it will post $580,000 of contingency payout for the 2011 AMA Supercross and AMA Arenacross Pro Series. Interested pro riders who want to avail of the contingency are requested to register and sign up for the XTRM Pro account.

Here’s what Richard Grogan-Crane, XTRM CEO and Founder has to say: “We’re excited to provide the platform to manage KTM’s 2011 contingency offering. This is another example of KTM’s forward thinking in providing the absolute best for their sponsored riders.”
