Paul Newman was renowned not only as an exemplary actor, philanthropist and screen legend but also as a race car driver. When he died last September 26 at the age of 83, he left not only an enduring legacy of screen gems but also an extensive collection of racecars.

Now, it was revealed that Paul Newman asked that his beloved racecars along with his airplane be put up for auction with the proceeds going to his foundation, as he stated in his will. Meanwhile, he left his personal property, including his Westport estate and art collection to his wife, actress Joanne Woodward.
